He is too young to conduct, isn`t he?

I enjoy this performence by a venezuelan youth orchestra. I think he is absolutly a young genius conductor. I like his performance. I prefer his performance than the old conductor`s performance. I think he has powerful and fashion factor. And the old conductor does not have this. I can feel a kind of sence of human from his performance. The old conductor is more conservation and formalist. Today is a morden world. So I think the conductor should be more morden than before too. It can fit to more people. Actually he is not too young. That is my opinion. I listen the performance again and again. I love that.

I think people as young as him is not a problem. Young is not express inexperienced to be conducors. And young people need have more trians and tests. A young conductor will to be a old conductor. This is truth. Nobody can change that. So this is just a progression. We need to wait a inexperienced people to be a experience people. We give them more chance and let them to challenge themselves. This is very important. Maybe one day people who like us have to perform on the stage. But we are so young and experienced. This is the true thing we need to face.

  1. I like what you said, that you could feel a sense of humanness from the way Gustavo conducted. I felt that too; in fact, the whole performance was full of energy and total involvement from everyone. I especially liked the second piece. I too listened to the video a few times!
